The Saskatoon Housing Authority is presently offering a reception/customer service employment opportunity. In this position, you will be the first point of contact and must provide courteous, prompt information & service to prospective & current tenants, public inquiries & guests to the housing authority. This position provides general administrative support to the Tenant Services department.
Some Accountabilities Include:
. Prompt opening & closing of the office,
. Provide friendly, courteous, prompt, and informative services where the needs of the customer come first – before admin tasks!
. Receive rents, perform cash transactions and balance receipts daily.
. Receive applications for low income, affordable housing; reviews for completeness, tracking of applications & related data entry,
. Maintenance of department files & records.
. Grade 12 of equivalent,
. completion of an accredited business program and/or demonstrated work experience in customer service, cash receipting/balancing
. Knowledge of general office & office systems procedures.
. Excellent interpersonal & telephone skills
. Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, time management & word processing skills
The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory criminal background check. This is an in-scope position compensated with an annual salary & benefits package. The office is open Monday-Friday 7.25 hours/day or 36.25 hours/week.
